Vislink’s new DragonFly V is a groundbreaking miniature HEVC wireless video transmitter, designed to capture high-quality, real-time video from point-of-view cameras, UAVs, body-worn devices and static cameras.
How small is it? It’s 2.25” x 1.55” x .87” (57 × 39 × 21.75 mm) and weighs just 2.57 oz (73 grams). All that looks like this:
Available in 5G and COFDM versions, DragonFly V optimizes power consumption for extended battery life. It supports video formats up to 1080p50/60 HDR and Vislink says it integrates seamlessly into live broadcast workflows.
It features HD/SDI and HDMI input options, and delivers a maximum COFDM output power of 50mW, providing reliable, high-definition HDR video transmission in a small, portable form. No word yet on costs.
