Teradek previews Prism Jetpack

Teradek is not releasing much information about the forthcoming Prism Jetpack just yet, but they had us at the name frankly.

The wonderfully named Prism Jetpack is a 5G video contribution pack designed for ENG teams, sports broadcasters, and remote live productions. Teradek says it combines unbreakable connectivity, extreme durability, and seamless monitoring into a single, field-ready solution.

There is not much yet in the way of details yet apart from what's in the video, but from that we can glean it has 8x 5G Modems, a detachable 1800 nit 7-inch monitor with return video, and is housed in an ergonomic pack design from Lowepro. It's low latency, supports 4K, HDR, and HEVC, and has a two hour battery life.
