If you're a routine flyer, the most tedious part of the whole process is watching the safety demos. Air New Zealand has changed all this.
Featuring a cameo appearance from New Zealand's greatest natural resource, Peter Jackson, and put together by WETA, the now legendary CGI and VFX facility, this four-minute piece must have had the biggest production budget in safety film history.
A nice touch is the Hobbit-like language: "If an oxygen mask should fall before you…"
