Blackmagic Design has announced that it will be live streaming an announcement tomorrow 16th July.
Currently all we know is that the stream is going ahead tomorrow at 9 AM PDT, New York 12 PM EDT, London 5 PM BST on the 16th of July, and Singapore 12 AM SGT, Tokyo 1 AM JST, Sydney 2 AM AEST.
Although BMD has made live streams before regarding software updates and other more minor announcements, the wording here is very specific, "camera update". In Blackmagic Design speak, when it comes to live streams, this usually means new hardware in some form.
This could also mean it might be anything from a new studio camera, to a new URSA, or a new micro camera. It's anyone's guess right now. But we will have fun finding out. We've embedded the live stream below for your convenience, so check back here at the due time. See you all tomorrow!
