A new generation of fast, nimble FPV drones is helping pilots perform ever better moves.
A new video shared on Reddit by Estonia's Skycam caught our eye at the weekend. It fulfils a commercial brief from a sneaker store to show off its new store space and layout in a 30-second timeframe, and does so in a pretty spectacular manner.
Skycam says it flew the route with a BetaFPV Beta95x drone with a naked GoPro attached to it (see below). The clip was recored at 25fps and is played in realtime. The only editing done is some basic color grading.
"Coordination-wise we did a separate scout day to plan the route, determine the choreography and while shooting we had an assistant shout out the keys for the actors," it says. "The whole clip took 10-15 takes to shoot, mainly adjusting timings of actors etc."
Ballzy indeed.
