RedShark Connect London: Focus on post-production workflows takes place tomorrow

Remember our special free event focusing on post-production workflows is taking place in London tomorrow evening, with doors opening at 17.30.

Tomorrow we’re delighted to say that RedShark is hosting our sold-out event for post-production professionals at NEON in Piccadilly, London. It will feature 4K and 8K workflow demos with the brand new Nvidia RTX5090 GPUs, as well as showcase the latest in display technology for VFX, 3D and Film/ TV editing in partnership with ASUS ProArt.

Long-time readers/ followers of RedShark will hopefully remember our popular RedShark Connect events held in locations including London, Amsterdam, Berlin, New York and LA. We invite our community of content creators ( that means you, dear reader) to join us for an evening of food, drink, talks from key industry professionals and - of course - demos of the latest and greatest workflow hardware. 

On a personal note I always absolutely loved these events! Seeing RedShark readers and industry connections get hands-on demos in an environment far far removed from the whole “trade show” vibe was great. Also the keynotes and panel discussions were very engaging so we all learned a lot together.

For our first Connect event since 2019 we have partnered with ASUS ProArt. Together we are hosting some incredible industry Masters Talks from Charles Chorein, Chairman of the UK Visual Effects Society; Director and VFX Supervisor, Victor Perez; Filmmaker and Certified DaVinci Resolve Trailer, Leon Barnard; and Display Technologist and Content Creator, Vincent Teoh.

Also supporting the event are Renderboxes, which is demoing a realtime 8K rendering workflow powered by a workstation that contains 4 RTX5090 (yes, the 50 series, in the flesh) GPUs. This is the perfect time to see the new ProArt 8K display (not shipping yet, you’ll be one of the first people in the world to see it). Renderboxes is supplying many of the UK’s biggest 3D animation and VFX studios with portable multi GPU workstation solutions, you need to see them to really appreciate the speed, power and how quiet they are!

The location is probably our best yet too! Two minutes walk from Piccadilly tube station at NEON, 194 Piccadilly, we are hosting the event in their ballroom space. All attendees will receive an ASUS goodie bag (their swag is always good) and get a chance to win a ProArt monitor in the prize draw.

The event starts at 18.00 but doors open at 17.30 and yes, there will be drinks and food available. We look forward to you joining us! And while signups for the event are now closed, of course we'll tell you everything that happened there afterwards.
