Hosted at Creative Solutions LA in Burbank, the event will showcase the complete filmmaking workflow, with a focus on filmmaking on the move. We'll also be kicking off the holiday season with some special appearances and surprises!
Rapid progress in filmmaking technology means that quality doesn’t have to suffer when you’re shooting on the go. Modern cameras, lenses, storage, computers and software mean that you can shoot in 4K or 6K, in Raw or Log, and in HDR. Even if you’re nowhere near a post facility, you can grade and sometimes even finish your films on location. And with 5G and satellite broadband, you can even work with colleagues across the globe.
From capturing and recording superb high resolution videos on the go, to storing and editing your footage, to collaborating with your creative partners, there is simply no nicer place to meet your peers and our partners, who create the technology that makes all this possible.
We'll be joined by our excellent Partners: Sony, Zeiss, Western Digital, Adobe, SmallHD, andTeradek. This is your chance to meet the manufacturers and discuss your mobile workflow ideas. It's a rare but wonderful thing when you seen manufacturers cooperating with each other!
We’ll be hosting a panel of some of today’s most forward-thinking filmmakers and technologists to discuss remote filmmaking and what you need to know , moderated by RedShark's Editor in Chief, Dave Shapton. Additional speakers to be announced soon.
Dave is the Editor In Chief of RedShark, a lifelong writer, occasional CTO, accurate predictor of the technological future and one-time composer of ballet music. He also has gyroscopes and Bluetooth in his knees. He is fascinated by the opportunities given to us by Exponential Technology, which Dave sees as widely misunderstood and underestimated.
You'll learn some new techniques, discover new kit and technology and meet interesting new creative friends and colleagues. It's an ideal place to network and maybe even plan new projects together...
There will be food, soft drinks and wine/ beer to keep your energy levels up. Best of all, it's all completely free.
Valet parking will be available onsite, full details will be sent once you RSVP.
