Cinegear 2018: We continue our Cinegear video series with an interview with Lite Gear about their impressive LiteMat Spectrum LED light. A light that could end up being a reference standard for modern lighting.

The LiteMat Spectrum has been a number of years in development, and it looks set to being a go to standard when it comes to LED lights. Not only is the light capable of incredibly high CRI, but it is currently the only LED light to our knowledge that is certified as being colour space compliant.

There are a number of features that set the LiteMat Spectrum apart from the competition. For one thing it allows colour compensation for the way that different specific cameras reproduce certain colours. Along with its ability to be set to any colour temperature between 2000K and 11000K, with +/- 8 tint compensation, and saturated colour that can be added with 100 shades of depth, we can see this fixture being very popular indeed.

We spoke to LiteGear at this year's Cinegear expo where they took us through a demonstration of the new light's capabilities. We were impressed!
