Here's a stunning music video shot with the Phantom Miro for its ultra slow motion magic.
I absolutely love this video! I have probably watched and analyzed it over ten times now. Every once in awhile, I stumble across a film that excites and inspires me to further my own work. This music video was filmed and directed by Rick Joaquim for The Graeme Watkins Project's song "Love in Abundance". The concept is relatively simple and yet so mesmerizing (I'm also a sucker for neon colors). The visuals are stunning, lighting is on point and performances are stellar.
I believe the real success stems from three factors: great motion from subject matters, vibrant color and the obvious detailed slow motion at a whopping 1000 frames per second. This is creativity in its rawest form.
There are a lot of factors that come into play to pull this off successfully and, while I am in no way down playing the technical achievements of this video, I do believe its simplicity is what makes this video so spectacular to begin with! So enjoy this highly catchy, highly entertaining video and soak up the color in all of its slow motion glory!
