Honda "Hands" Ad squeezes 65 years into 2 minutes

Hondas new TV ad "Hands" manages to compress the 65 year history of Honda into just two minutes and is a brilliant piece of animation and compositing

Honda have a history of making groundbreaking and visually interesting ads such as "Cog" from 2003 and "Impossible Dream" from 2005. Now Analog Studios in London have created a new ad based around the hands of an engineer transforming various Honda products.

Analog Studios made extensive use of Nuke from the Foundry to composite the shots and Fabio Zaveti from Analog will be appearing on the Foundrys stand at IBC to demonstrate some of the techniques involved.
