Nikon has added to the vlogging sphere with the new Z30, a lightweight mirrorless camera designed to for ease of use and portability.
The Z30 has been designed for people who are starting to take their vlogging more seriously and wish to advance more from their smartphone. It features a 20.9MP DX sized sensor as well as a Z-mount to take advantage of Nikon's most up-to-date range of lenses.
The Z30 offers 125 minutes of continuous shooting in full HD modes, although this drops to 35 minutes in 4K. The reasoning being that battery life and temperature profiles will affect shooting at higher resolutions.

Importantly for a vlogging camera, the Z30 features a fully articulating rear LCD screen that can be flipped for self shooting and framing, and there's a 3.5mm microphone jack, too. Full autofocus with eye and animal recognition is featured, and stills can be shot in bursts of up to 11fps for fast action.
The Nikon Z30 will be available from 14th July for £699 for the body, or £879 for a Vlogging Kit, which includes the Z30, Z DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR lens, ML-L7 Remote, SmallRig Tripod, and SmallRig Windmuff. Other kits are available with different lenses up to £1069.
