Zhiyun’s new entry level Cinepeer CQ5 stabiliser features AI tracking and intuitive voice control, as well as an extendable rod.
Fans of The Bear will love this. The voice command “Hey Cami” gives the user control of the new Zhiyun Cinepeer CQ5 stabiliser, while the AI tracker recognises hand gestures, allowing for touch-free control from a distance. After tapping the target on the screen, tracking follows the target, while anti-shake technology aims to deliver stability for smooth footage, even in action scenes. The quick-mount design lets users set up so they can be shooting in seconds.
Optional fill lights snap onto magnetic contact points on both ends of the phone clamp, freeing creators from cables and enabling users to create decent results on the go. The CQ5 is powered by the ZY Cami App, which offers ready-to-use shooting templates and features like SmartFollow, Timelapse, and MagicClone mode.
The CQ5 is designed to be compact and foldable enough to fit in a pocket, with a fold-and-go design and slide-lock mechanism, while the built-in extendable rod extends users’ reach to capture wide-angle shots. Battery life is up to 11 hours
The Cinepeer CQ5 Standard is priced at $99, while the Cinepeer CQ5 Combo, featuring magnetic light and AI tracker retails for $139. Launch offers take around 20% off those prices.
