New features in After Effects beta

Jason Druss, Senior Product Marketing Manager, shares with us the future of After Effects, currently in its beta phase, and offers a preview of the upcoming features and enhancements.

One of the developments showcased by Jason is the integration of embedded animation within 3D models. This new feature empowers users to trigger animations within their 3D creations, effortlessly spread them out as keyframes, and incorporate any additional 3D elements in their animations. Furthermore, After Effects has improved its 3D capabilities, with enhancements to 3D shadow capture, and depth maps, and increased three times its UI/UX performance. These enhancements streamline the design process and improve the user experience.

In addition to these advancements, we talk about Adobe Spectrum, which is crafted to enhance all Adobe Creative applications, making the Adobe Creative Suite more inclusive and user-friendly. There is also a new light mode, offering users an alternative interface tailored to their preferences.
