The new Eagle SDI e-Viewfinder from Kinefinity is an intriguing product that is compatible with all cine cameras.

The headline surrounding the new Kinefinity Eagle SDI e-Viewfinder are impressive. It is compatible with all cine cameras, featuring SDI functionality, boasts a Micro-OLED 1080P display, premium optics, has noise-free and zero-delay performance, and contains all this within an ultra-lightweight and user-friendly design.

Kinefinity say the Eagle seamlessly integrates with all cine cameras, offering intuitive support for 3G SDI and HD SDI. This ensures universal connectivity across a wide array of setups, supporting 1080p and 1080i at frame rates ranging from 23.97 to 60.

It features a Full-HD 0.7'' Micro-OLED display with an1080P resolution, providing enhanced visual fidelity with increased pixel count. Supported by 10-bit processing, this presents a broad spectrum of 16 million colors, resulting in high contrasts and true black and grey levels, guaranteeing precise details and sharp imagery.

A built-in diopter is adjustable from -6D to +2D based on military specifications caters to a wide range of vision needs, accommodating from 600 degrees of myopia to 200 degrees of hyperopia. This should go a long way to ensuring a comfortable viewing experience for all users.

With 2.5W low power consumption and no internal fan, coupled with efficient heat dissipation, the e-Viewfinder operates silently. The zero-delay feature enables real-time image capture and seamless focusing, while quick start-up, low power consumption, and support for RS triggering further enhance its broad appeal.

The ergonomic design incorporates five function buttons, a power switch, a function knob, and essential assembly features including Rosette Mount and Movcam Quick-lock Mount. It is also equipped with a comprehensive suite of software features such as Luma Waveform, Peaking, Histogram, False Color, SDI Metadata, and more.

The Eagle is available in two colors: Black and Cyber and pricing starts from $1299. Orders are open now and shipping will commence on August 5.
