Hollyland reckons its new Solidcom SE wireless intercom system is ideal for close teamwork in video production and filmmaking.
The new Hollyland Solidcom SE Global Version has been designed to help with clear and reliable communication using the 2.4 GHz band to operate at distances of up to 1,100ft (350m).
It’s a lightweight full-duplex communication system, meaning that team members can speak simultaneously, and features dual-mic Environmental Noise Cancellation with a signal-to-noise ratio of 71dB which should deal with an appreciable amount of background noise. Automatic frequency hopping avoids radio interference, for stable and reliable voice communications, while the over-ear pad is replaceable, useful if you’re working in hot conditions. They also feature water and wind noise resistance for more flexibility in deployment.
Detachable batteries and a 12 hour battery life make sure the system keeps running with minimal downtime. As is standard with Hollyland intercom systems, headsets come with battery charging stations for maximum efficiency while shooting. The headset also supports USB-C charging, so with a power bank on hand, communications are uninterrupted.
There are three configurations available in lots of 2, 4, and 5 headsets. Pricing is: Solidcom SE Global Version 2S $229; Solidcom SE Global Version 4S $459; and Solidcom SE Global Version 5S $579. Availability is immediate
