GODOX unveils the Full Color RGB Flexible LED Mat Series

The latest introduction to GODOX’s KNOWLED series is the Full Color RGB Flexible LED Mat Series which ranges from 100W to 800W models.

Compared to the Bi Version of the same light (F200/400/600Bi), the new Full Color RGB Flexible LED Mat Series  version is lighter, and more powerful at the same size, with various control options and significant improvements in waterproofing leading to a full IP-54 rating. 

It offers five models to choose from: F100R, F200R, F200SR, F400R, and F800R. Each model features a wide color temperature range from 1800K to 10,000K, along with adjustable G/M settings and multiple accessory options, ensuring versatile lighting options for any scene. Accessories include softboxes with grids, pancake softboxes, and more. 

The F100R will output 4740 Lux, the F200R 8900 Lux, the F200SR 7900 Lux, the F400R 14400 Lux, and the F800R 24200 Lux. Additionally, the FS200R can also be paired with Air Tube a detachable tube-shaped air softbox, offering a wide 180-degree beam angle.

Contrasting the new with the old reveals some interesting updates. With a 30% power increase and a 20% reduction in weight, the F800R maintains the same size as the F600Bi while offering enhanced performance. Featuring bend-resistant LEDs with protective design, it’s built for durability and the ultra-thin light body, combined with practical features such as eyelets and Velcro, makes it easy to mount and light even in tight spaces and challenging conditions. 

The full-color series features built-in LumenRadio module, ensuring efficient and stable wireless control via CRMX, along with Bluetooth connectivity and on-board controls. The F400R and F800R models also support Ethernet Art-Net and sACN protocols, boosting their usefulness for large-scale film and TV productions.

Godox has also developed a new custom-sized inflatable air softbox for each size, complete with a skirt and grid. The curved design softens light for more even distribution, and the softbox is easily detachable and quick to inflate or deflate, making it a flexible and efficient solution for light shaping in setup.
