Godox releases ML100R, a full-color successor to the ML100Bi

Godox’s new ML100R, the full-color successor to the ML100Bi, boasts the same lightweight design but enhances versatility with more portable light-shaping accessories and expanded mobile power options.

The Godox ML100Bi was well-received for its portability and high-quality lighting, and in response to users increasingly seeking color options to freely adjust lighting for more creative scenarios, Godox has now launched the ML100R. This offers a wider range of colors and a portable design to provide creators with a more flexible lighting solution.

The light features innovative mixing technology for even illumination, GM adjustability for precise color correction, and an extensive color temperature range of 1800K to 10000K. The Godox Light App allows users to seamlessly adjust HSI and CCT settings or control multiple lights simultaneously for enhanced efficiency. The ML100R also features 14 built-in FX effects, ranging from natural elements like fire and lightning to creative options such as 'cop car' and 'party', allowing for quick and dynamic atmosphere creation.

It features multiple power options, including an AC adapter and four portable battery solutions for maximum mobility. The newly introduced Battery Grip BG02 further enhances portability, offering a convenient and efficient power source for creators who need reliable performance on the go.

Equipped with the Godox Mount, the ML100R is compatible with a wide range of compact modifiers, including lens reflectors, softboxes, and projection attachments. This range is growing all the time, with new accessories including the Mini Projection Attachment (ML-SP), Collapsible Fresnel Attachment (ML-CFL5), and Air Soft Tube (ML-S1A).

The Collapsible Fresnel Attachment, for example, is designed for seamless attachment to 15° or 36° lens reflectors, further boosting light output. Made from lightweight silicone, it folds twice for compact storage, ensuring easy portability. With three selectable angles, it offers adjustable brightness enhancement while maintaining uniform, high-saturation lighting effects—even when using colored lights.
