GODOX’s smaller fixtures take center stage in this hands-on demo showcasing the flexibility of its growing modular lighting ecosystem.

We caught up with Joel Herrera at NAB 2025 for a look at GODOX's new MS60R, RS60Bi, and their CRMX and Bluetooth-compatible variants. These compact LED lights are built with flexibility in mind, supporting multiple power options and mounting formats to suit a wide range of creative setups.

From USB-C and NPF batteries to a new Edison-style screw-in mount, the lights are designed to adapt to whatever power source you have on hand. It’s a practical move for creators working between studio and location.

Lens options include focusing Fresnels with magnetic front rings that let users snap on various diffusion and effects filters. “It just allows you to change to your heart’s content,” Joel said.

Joel also demoed the BeamLight S20, a compact 60W fixture designed to deliver a narrow 5-degree beam from a small body. “How do you break the inverse square law? I don’t know how they did it… but they did it.”

The new fixtures are available as one-, two-, or four-light kits, and are particularly well-suited for food and product photographers looking for a compact but capable lighting setup.
