As well as new features for Premiere Pro and After Effects in v25.2, Adobe has all taken the rappers off some new features in Frame.io Version 4.
When it comes to working with Frame.io, storage seems to be one of the main bottlenecks in establishing workflows. Therefore Adobe has expanded storage across all Pro, Team, and Enterprise V4 plans at no additional cost. All that means:
Meanwhile, transcription moves into beta with support for 18 languages. This basically leverages all the speech to text developments in Premiere Pro and means users can generate accurate, searchable transcripts of their video and audio files. That lets them search for specific terms, click on any word to jump to that exact moment in the timeline, and even export transcripts as SRT and VTT files.
Text markup tools have also been overhauled.
There are a bunch of new security enhancements too. Static watermarking lets you protect your content with custom text watermarks on videos, images, and documents. Previously available only for Enterprise accounts, Pro and Team plans in V4 can now create and apply one watermark template.
Also on the way are Restricted Folders. As you would expect, these let users control who sees what, with custom permissions available for viewing, commenting, or editing. And Access Groups (now in beta) help users automate access control across Workspaces and Projects by managing user membership within groups.
All this adds to features recently released including the ability for Admins to set default logos, colors, and backgrounds for Shares; the Comment Panel going live in Premiere Pro 25.2; and the ability to review your work via the Frame.io V4 Apple TV app.
