Digital Anarchy has launched a subscription plan that will run alongside its current perpetual license model.
The new Digital Anarchy subscription plan is available in two tiers, and will be sold and managed through a newly launched portal where customers can create an account, add billing information, and purchase and manage their subscriptions. Stand-alone perpetual licenses will also be available through the new portal, for those customers who prefer one-time purchases over subscriptions.
Which, judging by the mailbag whenever the subject is mentioned, is definitely some of you
Existing customers can get the first year for $99 and if they have purchased in the last year, they can get a six month subscription for free.
Here’s what’s on offer:
All plugins, all platforms for $199/year
Includes the entire family of Digital Anarchy plugins:
The Anarchy Essentials subscription is designed for video editors who want to take advantage of all Digital Anarchy plugins, but only use one video-editing application. Anarchy Essentials is billed annually and is priced at $149/year.
As above but…
*DataStoryteller not compatible with Avid. Transcriptive + PowerSearch only available for Premiere Pro.
As mentioned, unlike the hard pivot some other vendors have made in recent times, the company’s going to keep selling perpetual licenses. All of them together would currently set you back $930, so the subscription model is on the economic side. Plus, as the company is keen to point out, subscribers also get access to any other new plugins down the line at no additional cost.
