Blackmagic Design has released DaVinci Resolve 19.0.3 adding support for Blackmagic RAW 4.3 as well as improved LUT application and support for subframe source parameters when using certain scripting APIs.

First up, a bit of house-keeping. For DaVinci Resolve 19.0.3, the Blackmagic devs have taken efforts to keep the project libraries compatible with DaVinci Resolve 18.6.6. While this allows you to access the project library with 18.6.6, individual projects created or opened in 19.0.3 will now no longer be accessible in 18.6.6. As such, they recommend a full project library backup as well as individual project backups before opening projects in 19.0.3.

What's new in DaVinci Resolve 19.0.3

The following features have been added or updated.

  • Support for Blackmagic RAW SDK 4.3.
  • Input LUT setting is no longer applied to offline reference clips.
  • Script APIs to add clips to timeline now support source subframes.
  • Support to auto-generate proxies for ARRI image sequences.
  • Addressed slow cascaded expression issues in Fusion inspector.
  • Addressed issue with media managing embedded AAFs for copy.
  • Improved performance for workflow integrations on Apple Silicon.
  • General performance and stability improvements.

In addition there are improvements to the Fusion multimerge tool
