DaVinci Resolve 18 is now a final release

5 minute read

Having been initially announced at NAB 2022, Blackmagic has been coding in a frenzy ever since with the result that today DaVinci Resolve 18 moves officially out of beta.

Given the sheer size and scale of Resolve 18, the speed with which Blackmagic has managed to move through the beta stage and on into the final release is fairly impressive. But move it has, with 'pretty much' everything in the beta now stabilised.

We've pasted the long and mammoth list of new bits and pieces below, but if you want the tl;dr meta-list of new features they can be boiled down to a fairly succinct top three.
