It won't be long before the first Digital Bolex D16s are in the hands of customers
Digital Bolex has announced that they have begun preparations for their first 100 cameras and will soon start accepting pre-orders for the next, larger batch. On the company’s forum Joe Rubinstein (one of the founders and CEO) made the announcement that “[the] delivery for the first 100 is expected before [Christmas], but the next batch will be early next year.”
These first 100 cameras will go to company’s KickStarter backers, who over the course of only 36 hours helped Digital Bolex raise $262,661 of the original $100,000 goal.
Joe went on to mention that once the KickStarter cameras are out the door and the US Holidays pass, the new pre-ordered cameras should be shipped in around 8 weeks.
