Boris FX Silhouette is an AI-powered tool that enhances rotoscoping and painting work, helping to streamline processes, and is considered a leading tool for artists. There are over 400 VFX nodes, including Boris FX Mocha Pro, Sapphire, and Particle Illusion.
The new Optical Flow ML node helps save a lot of time by automatically track points and driving roto splines. While this is just one example of the new features found in Boris FX Silhouette (2024.5), anything that can save time and allow rotoscope artists to focus creatively is a great thing.
Silhouette is both a standalone application and a plugin for VFX and animation apps like Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve and Fusion, Autodesk Flame, and Foundry Nuke.
