Amaran unveils MagSafe-compatible LED mini light

Amaran has unveiled the Go, a MagSafe-compatible LED mini light designed for mobile phone content creation. 

The new Amran Go compact light features a novel flip design that works with front and rear cameras and an integrated mirror light for quick adjustments.

The Go uses MagSafe magnetic mounting instead of the traditional clip-on phone lights system. This approach aims to provide more stability while avoiding camera obstruction. For phones without MagSafe compatibility, Amaran includes a magnetic adapter sticker in the package.

At less than half the size of an iPhone, the Go is designed for portability. Its compact form factor allows it to remain attached to a phone while still fitting in a pocket—solving a complaint regularly directed towards larger mobile lighting solutions.

The light's flip mechanism allows quick transitions between front and rear camera use—particularly useful for content creators who frequently switch between selfies and outward-facing footage.

Amaran has also integrated what it claims is the first dual mirror light in this category, combining a makeup mirror with adjustable lighting for on-the-go adjustments.
