Accsoon announces new 12.9" iPad Power Cage Pro enclosure

Accsoon has announced a new power cage for the 12.9" iPad Pro models for endurance use on set.

The iPad is increasingly finding itself as an invaluable on-set tool. Whether it's for shot logging, monitoring, or gear setup and parameter adjustment, it's incredibly versatile.  Whilst battery life on the device is generally very good, once you start using it for monitoring in an almost constantly used state, battery life will start to show its limitations.

Enter the Power Cage Pro from Accsoon. The Power Cage system is already available for the 10-inch iPads, but now users of 12.9-inch models can get in on the act. The Power Cage Pro is a protective aluminium cage that fits around the iPad and lets users power the device with Sony NP-F style batteries.

The cage features charge protection as well as a built in desk stand so that it can be self supported on flat surfaces. This has built in dampening so that the angle of the stand can be adjusted to suit the viewing angle. There are also multiple 1/4" mounting holes, so it can be affixed to lighting stands, tripods, camera rigs etc.
