Live from the IBC2024 show floor, Ted Sim, President and Co-Founder of Aputure, gives us a detailed introduction to the excellent new STORM 1200x LED light and its innovative new BLAIR light engine.
We liked the new Aputure Storm 1200x when we first heard about it, and it has to be said it's one of those things that looks even better in real life. Ted Sim gives us his usual excellent tour of the light, including picking it up and giving it a good shake to show the strength of the ProLock accessory mount at one point.
It's the demonstration of the innovative BLAIR light engine that really grabs your attention at the end though, and Sim has even worked out a way of demoing the advantage that adding the indigo LED to the STORM 1200x gives you under the normal iffy trade show lighting conditions.
